Geocache Description:

Cache is located on the Knife Creek Mule Deer Trail in the  Alex Fraser Research Forest Knife Creek Block. This is a great little trail to take a hike on in any season. The 10 educational signs add interest and you can quiz yourself at the end.

The terrain starts off fairly level but be prepared to hike upwards for the caches in the area. Check the information sign near the beginning and follow the trail around the loop. There is a bench to sit on about half way. Irish Horse and I enjoyed learning more about the area from the posted signs along the trail. This cache is winter friendly although you may need snow shoes to get to the location. Make sure you read the last sign and challenge yourself to spot the things the signs taught as you walk back to your vehicle. Would be a great little family hike.
