Geocache Description:

The next cache for families and all other cachers which like some challenges.

You might have heard the legend of the Minotaur and his Labyrinth. If not, this is your chance to learn something about it.

The Minotaur is a creature of the ancient greek. He was born as a child of Poseidon and Pasiphae. Poseidon being the sea god and Pasiphae the wife of Minos, the king of Crete. Poseidon made Pasiphae fall in love with him as a penalty, after Minos kept the Cretan Bull for his own instead of sacrificing it for Poseidon. Minotaur is described as part man and part bull. Pasiphae nursed him, but he grew and became ferocious, being the unnatural offspring of a woman and a beast; he had no natural source of nourishment and thus devoured humans for sustenance.

At this time Daedalus received the instruction to build a gigantic Labyrinth to hold the Minotaur. The Labyrinth was a complex place, with endless tracks running around likes endless roads. It included deadends, traps, mirrors and other obstacles. Over the years the Labyrinth was mystified and more and more legends began to evolve.

For many years the Minotaur lived within the Labyrinth and became even more cruel over the years. Finally Theseus volunteered to slay him. He was in love with Ariadne the daugther of Minos. She helped him to find his way through the Labyrinth and made it to the center. She even gave him a ball of thread, allowing him to retrace his path. In a final fight he killed the Minotaur and led his captives back into freedom.

This time you don't need to write down any numbers. You will have a different kind of challenge. Be surprised.
