If you have ever visited Australia you may have been warned by the locals to watch out for drop bears, a very large predatory carnivorous version of the Koala who inhabit the tree tops and attack unsuspecting tourists (or other prey) that walk beneath them, by dropping onto their heads from above.
This obviously is an added hazard when geocaching in Australia, and I have sometimes wondered if such creatures may also exist in NZ? Recommended avoidance techniques include placing combs in your hair, spreading vegemite behind your ears, and talking in an Australian accent.
Log only cache (BYOP) requiring some stealth due to it's suburban location. The immediate neigbours behind GZ are however aware of the cache.
