Welcome to East Gate & Veteran’s Park! This cache is the second in a series of caches we are placing in this park. Veterans Park is a new park (2016) being completed in phases & as the heavy machinery and construction crews move out of each area we will be adding a few more caches for you to enjoy.

This park will have many active muggles (or construction worker muggles) at times so stealth (and/or a good diversion like kids, a geo-pup, Frisbee, etc.) will be required at many times. This cache should be a quick PNG (park n grab) located at a typical GeoHide location. This cache can be accessed from either side of the park, but is closer to the East entrance to the park on McKinnley Rd. There is parking throughout the park & if you are doing other caches in the park; you can get to this cache by using the gravel walkways and/or walking through the parking area.
This cache is family friendly and should be wheelchair accessible. If you note any problems with the cache; please post a note on the cache page or send us a message through the Geocaching message center.
Don’t forget to grab the cache near the old schoolhouse at the edge of the park while you’re in the park.
Geo-pup owners: Please help keep this new park dog friendly. ALWAYS clean up after your dog and keep your dog off of the actual sports fields – exercise them on the walkways, parking areas, or green spaces away from the fields instead. We really want dogs to continue to be welcome here!!
