This site looks out to Sheep Island, which is owned by the Downeast Coastal Conservancy(take an hour and paddle out!).
Check out old Lemuell Ladd who lived to be 100. There is also a sad story in this cemetery.
Jason B. Look lost his wife Deborah, and daughters Celestia (11), Syrena (11), and Lucy (3) within two terrible years --1851-1852. This may have been related to the cholera outbreak in Jamaca in that year, as the region has a strong shipping tradition with the Caribbean.
