Porta dei Borghi, insieme a Porta San Gervasio, è ciò che rimane delle antiche mura medievali della città. È così chiamata perché portava ai borghi, degli insediamenti subito fuori la città. Fu edificata tra il 1198 e il 1265.
Porta dei Borghi, together with Porta San Gervasio, is what remains today of the medieval Walls. It is named after the "borghi", settlements right outside the gate and the city.
It was built between 1198 and 1265.
