Call me maybe Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

m.e.a.n.: I have not found a suitable replacement for this location. I have tried a few things but they haven't lasted. I'll abandon this location and hopefully someone else will use the location. If not I have a different cache that I could locate not too far from there this fall. The alternate cache would be in a safer location and likely require less maintenance.

Geocache Description:

Just a quick park n grab or a nice place to take a break and enjoy the park. Usually it's not too busy right here so muggles should not be much of a problem.

In 1876 Alexander Graham Bell patented the telephone, in 1891 William Gray patented the coin-operated telephone. By 1902 there were 80,000 payphones in the US and they peaked at aound 2.2-2.6 million payhones about 20 years ago. Now there are less than 500,000. There was even a phone booth in the Mojave desert, the 99% Invisible podcast did an episode on it, I encourage you to check it out at http://99percentinvisible.org/episode/mojave-phone-booth/
