Welcome to the Lindley Murray School which served grades 1st through 8th from 1850 to January 1947. There were about 36 pupils each year. This one-room school house was renovated by a wonderful history teacher, Thomas Donmoyer, and his students in 1973. They wanted to have it completed in time for the Bicentennial celebration. The building is open 12- 4 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays in the month of August. Check it out!
No night caching! The cache container IS NOT on or around the school building. But please take some time to appreciate this location that is leased by the East Hanover Township. The cache is a small lock-n-lock container with a log book and some swag for trade. Remember, if you take something out, please put something in of the same value that way there is always swag in cache. Please bring your own writing utensil in case the cache pencil disappears.
