Goodbye GeoRoc Mystery Cache

Before heading out of the area, we wanted to place one more cache to thank the many great geocaching friends we've made in the past 6+ years of caching here. Having lived here for over 30 years, we have many fond memories and in many ways hate to leave it all behind. But the desire to travel about the country has proven stronger and we plan on wandering aimlessly for the next 10 years or so. We will make it back from time to time and hope to meet up with some of you when we do.

The cache IS at the posted coords, but you will be required to do just a bit of work in order to place your name on the log. This is at a seldom used entrance to an offshoot of the Lehigh Valley Trail.

The idea for this cache was "stolen" from one we did a couple months ago placed by BrotherTim: flummox GC62EK5. He has given his blessing for us to place a similar cache.

We were intrigued by its design and decided I needed to attempt to make one of my own version before I no longer had all my wood working tools. The cache will be easy to spot but in order to sign the log, you will need to work thru a 3D maze of sorts. More details will be provided on the outside of the cache.

Please note, the inner portion of the cache is rather hefty, so be careful when you slide it out to sign the log.
