Une cache se trouve sur cette ancienne habitation qui est classée un Site historique de la Martinique. Pour y accéder : de Fort-de-France, prendre la Nationale 2 en direction de Saint Pierre. L'habitation est située à la sortie du Carbet et à l'entrée de la ville de Saint Pierre ( Après le tunnel, prendre la prochaine à droite, et c’est tout de suite à gauche. )
LE SITE :
L'habitation Anse Latouche, comme son nom l'indique, d'une ancienne habitation dont les premières fondations (1643) sont pratiquement contemporaines de l'arrivée des colons français (1635). On cultiva ici le cacao, le tabac et bien sur la canne à sucre avant que le lieu ne soit transformé en distillerie au milieu du XIXème siècle. L'éruption de la Montagne Pelée ravage entièrement le domaine le 8 mai 1902 et seuls les vestiges des installations sont aujourd'hui encore visibles: Maison de maitre, cases, aqueduc, cheminée et moulin à eau, les équipements des ateliers de manioc, les bacs de fabrication de couleurs pour les tissus (indigo), et bien sur les ruines de la fabrication du sucre et rhum, la fameuse grande roue à aubes, l'aqueduc et tout au bout le barrage de style Vauban. Réhabilitée par Jean Philippe Thoze, jardinier passionné, l'Habitation Anse Latouche sert aujourd'hui de cadre grandiose à un jardin botanique étagé qui compose un tableau végétal remarquable, ainsi de la collection de quelques animaux..
LA CACHE :
La cache se trouve à l'entrée du site. Une fois que vous avez trouvé une place pour votre voiture sur le parking prévu, le site est très facile d'accès. La cache micro magnétique contient originellement le log mais pas de crayon. Apportez donc votre crayon (BYOP) et soyez extrêmement discret, l’endroit est très fréquenté. SVP replacez la cache exactement à l’endroit où vous l’avez trouvé.

A hiding place is on this old Habitation classified as an historicité site of Martinique. To reach it: of Fort-de-France, take the National 2 in the direction of Saint Peter. The house is situated at the exit of Carbet and at the entrance of the city of Saint Peter (After the tunnel, take the next one to the right, and it is at once to the left. )
THE SITE:
The habitation Anse Latouche, as its name indicates it, of a old house the first foundations ( 1643 ) of which are practically contemporary of the arrival of the French colonists ( 1635 ). They cultivated here the cocoa, the tobacco and the good property on the sugar cane before the place is transformed into distillery in the middle of the XIXth century. The eruption of Mount Pelée ravages completely the domain on May 8th, 1902 and only the vestiges of the installations are today still visible: host house, compartments, aqueduct, fireplace and water mill, the equipments of the workshops of manioc, the tubs of manufacturing of colors for fabrics tissues (indigo), and well on the ruins of the manufacturing of the sugar and the rum, the famous big wheel in dawns, the aqueduct and quite in the rear the roadblock of style Vauban. Rehabilitated by Jean Philippe Thoze, passionate gardener, the Habitation Anse Latouche is of use as grand frame to a staged botanical garden today which makes up a remarkable plant picture, so of the collection of some animals..
THE CACHE :
The Hiding place is situated in entrance of the site. When you found a place for your car on the parking lot, the site is very easily accessible. The micro magnétic hiding place contains originally the log but no pencil. Thus bring your pencil ( BYOP) and be extremely discreet, the place is very busy. PLEASE replace the hiding place exactly in the place where you found It.
