Edward Hunter Heritage Bushland Reserve
This cache is going to take you to a magic place that I have been privileged to enjoy with my children in the earlier years and with my grandchildren in the future. This bushland Reserve includes a reservoir, walking tracks and is abundant with native Flora and Fauna. The Councillor Edward Hunter with whom this Reserve was named after, was a dedicated contributor of our community being involved in many associations and committees.
The Reservoir with its colourful history being firstly a water catchment supplying water for our steam train system and then supply for local railway houses. When our rail system was electrified, the reservoir became the Edward Hunter Swimming Pool complete with a diving board and a Kiosk. After the event of a couple of drownings an outdoor swimming pool was established elsewhere in Moe. For several years, a dedicated committee along with volunteers and local business maintain Edward Hunter Reserve with pride for future generations to enjoy.
The provided co-ordinates will bring you to an information board at the Reserve. There you will find the following information and be able to calculate the final GZ.
