This viewing platform, along with the new cafe and souvernir shop, was opened in 2012, and won a prize for using concrete in an environmental, technical and esthetic way, from the Norwegian assosiation for Concrete, and Norwegian national assosiation for architects.
From this area you can see all of the Trollstigen road. The cache is hidden under the walkway, so some minor acrobatic skills are needed.
This area can be hard to access the first weeks after the opening of the road, since this path can be full of snow much higher than the railings.
Important notice for all Geocachers in Trollstigen:
Trollstigen is a protected area of environmental or cultural value. This means that you will have to be careful when looking for the cache, so you don't damage or move around anything around. Normally, geocaches can't be hidden in those areas beacuse of the added traffic we will generate in the area. The rules and regulations for this area can be found here, unfortunately only in Norwegian:

Summary: the cache is easy to find. Do not destroy or move anything away when looking for the cache.
Please leave the area just the way you found it.
