A lovely stretch of woodland near where we live which we've enjoyed for many years. We decided to place a few caches so others could visit the area too. It's not a particularly strenuous walk, not too many hills, but a nice area to stroll in.
Especially beautiful in spring time when the woods are filled with Bluebells, Wood Anenome and Celandine, but will be very muddy at certain times of the year so wear wellies if it's been raining!
The third of 7.
Suggested parking: at the top of Row Dow, where it meets Birchin Cross and there's a parking triangle. There is probably room for 3 cars if you park sensibly. From there you can easily follow footpaths to the cache location.
There are obvious footpaths to follow, but gps reception could be poor due to tree cover.
Enjoy!
