Geocache Description:

Op deze plek waar in de oorlog een amerikaans vliegtuig neerstortte, is een herdenkingszuil geplaatst voor het dodelijke slachtoffer van de crash. In deze man, Donald Emerzond die een gezicht heeft gekregen dankzij particulier initiatief, worden ook als die anderen herdacht die hun leven voor onze vrijheid maar zonder gezicht rusten op het kerkhof van Margraten of elders in Europa en de wereld.

In this place where an American plane crashed into the war, a memorial column was posted on the deadly victim of the crash. This man, Donald Emerson who has been given a face thanks to private initiative, also like others commemorated their lives for our freedom but without face rest in the cemetery of Margraten or elsewhere in Europe and the world.
