Oakville has many great trails to walk and bike and explore. My kids and I like to be outdoors but I can only get them to come geocaching with me if finding the geocache doesn't involve bushwacking. It is my intention to place several kid friendly geocaches along Oakville trails. I hope they are easy enough finds for your family and kids (or parents) won't get scared off by having to bushwack through rough terrain.
Indian Ridge trail connects to several others, like Glen Abbey trail and McCraney Creek trail which also have geocaches to find 
. This section may not be too scenic since it looks onto the QEW highway but it is a great trail for biking and jogging. This geocache is a bison tube affixed to a growing piece of flora next to permanement structure. I put a piece of cammo tape it to help reduce the chance of a muggle spotting it. If you don't like bending down, ask your shortest geocaching team mate to look for it.
