Geocache Description:

A short time from now in a public house not so far away.......

Once a year comes a day that geeks of a particular type like to don their favourite character T-shirt, ( if they can choose a favourite) and greet other fellow geeks with the words May the fourth be with you!

May 4 is considered a holiday by some Star Wars fans to celebrate the franchise's film series, books, and culture. The date was chosen for the easy pun on the catchphrase "May the Force be with you"—"May the Fourth be with you". Even though the holiday was not actually created or declared by Lucasfilm, many Star Wars fans across the world choose to celebrate the holiday.

Well as you might have guessed I'm one of those geeks so to commemorate this special day I'd like to invite you all to join me in an evening of fun and games (and a bit of fund raising) to celebrate with me.

Where? The Harvey arms, old Bawtry road Finningley.

When? Well the date is obvious

Time? Any time after 5:30pm till 9pm

the pub provides a good choice of food and drink so please indicate in your log if you will be eating so as I can inform the landlord.

for the kids (and maybe the big kids) Lord Vader himself may just make an appearance for a photo opportunity so come in your favourite StarWars T-shirt and get your picture taken with him.

Oh go on then let's have a best StarWars T-shirt competition.

For the adults (and maybe the kids) there will be a limited supply of TWO different geocoins (both trackable at geocaching.com) available for purchase at the event, as they are a limited supply please mention in your will attend log weather you would like one or both coins so I can accommodate everyone,  priority will be given to those at the event.

The first coin is of the lesser-known Jedi, signal the frog. Designed by Amber Tuttle of AFK geocaching, and customised by myself to create a limited edition only on sale at my event and and shared with my American buddies event in New York  he started out as the Yorkshire edition but Erick employed his Jedi mind tricks and it is now the New Yorkshire edition  (for everybody in the know though he's wearing purple;-) this is a 2 sided coin with Yorkshire edition signal on one side and Sith signal on the other.

The second coin is an homage to R2-D2. And is a cache wars Geoswag coin customised by My New York caching buddy New Market Mallers, his colour scheme is the basis for the New York (and now the New Yorkshire) version of this coin.

So there you have the coins. The profit of each coin going towards the fund raising for the Uk Mega committee. In addition to these we will have a raffle to raise money and other fun and games. So please bring along any raffle prizes you have laying around. More details to follow in the weeks to come.
