Looking to the west, the island of Foula can be seen. In 1937 Foula was the location for the filming of Michael Powell's film "Edge of the World" about the de-population of St Kilda, a small island off the west coast of Scotland. Panning from left to right the cache location offers views of Spiggie Loch, Scousburgh Sands, the island of Colsay, St Ninian's Isle and up the West Mainland of Shetland.
A "faelly daek" (dyke made of turves) can be seen not far from the cache, a remnant of a former way of life in Shetland.
This is a traditional cache in a lock 'n' lock type container with various items of swag.
