An addition leg of my SGL 285 caches in this area, caches 67-81 will join loop 45-66. You will start at the game lands entrance close to SGL 67 and make a heart pounding climb thru caches 68-70. There is a nice trail, no bushwacking.
You will end up walking a short distance on the gas well drive. Chesapeake Security has no problem with this just DO NOT trespass on the well pad. You can’t miss it…big ol’ fence going around it.
After that the trail elevation changes only slightly. Of course you could make the loop starting at 45 or 66. Either way, you will have a bit of a hill climb.
