Železničné priecestie bez závor

Tretia keška zo série Sninské gumáky.
Železničná trať Humenné - Stakčín

Koncesia pre výstavbu a prevádzku trate, vychádzajúcej zo stanice Maďarských štátnych železníc v Humennom a smerujúcej cez Dlhé nad Cirochou a Sninu do Stakčína, bola udelená nariadením MO č. 78587/908.IX.12 dr. Eugenovi Rudnyanszkému a stavebnej firme Gfrerer, Schoch a Grossmann z Budapešti. Pôvodne sa uvažovalo aj o predĺžení trate po obec Ruské (neskôr evakuovaná kvôli VN Starina) v dĺžke 28 km, no v dôsledku 1. svetovej vojny sa stavba nerealizovala.
Výstavba 26,9 km dlhej železnice si nevyžiadala väčšie zemné práce (oblúky tvorili iba 26% jej trasy), bolo však potrebné vybudovať 86 mostov a priepustov v celkovej dĺžke 289 m. To sa tiež odrazilo v pomerne vysokých stavebných nákladoch. Na trati, ktorú križovalo 52 úrovňových priecestí bez závor, bolo 5 strážnych stanovíšť, 2 zastávky a 4 stanice s výpravnými budovami, resp. čakárňami a skladmi.
Prevádzka železnice sa začala 30. novembra 1909.

Level crossing without barriers ahead

Third cache from the series Snina rubber toys
Railway track Humenné - Stakčín

The concession for the construction and operation of the line, starting in railway station Humenné of Hungarian State Railways and directed through Dlhé nad Cirochou and Snina to Stakčín, was granted by act MO nr. 78587 / 908.IX.12 to Dr. Eugene Rudnyánszky and construction company Gfrerer, Schoch and Grossmann from Budapest. They originally considered to extend the track all the way to the village Ruské (later evacuated due to the construction of Starina water reservoir) in the length of 28 km, but due to the first World War the construction did not take place.
Construction of 26.9 km long railway did not require major earthworks (arches accounted for only 26% of its length), it was necessary to build 86 bridges and culverts with a total length of 289 m. This was also reflected in the relatively high construction costs. The track, which crossed 52 level crossings without gates, had 5 guard stations, 2 stops and 4 stations with the station building, waiting area or warehouses, respectively.
Railway operation began November 30, 1909.
