kayrenhin: Unfortunately, due to several instances of flooding which destroyed the cache, I've decided to discontinue the cache. The area is a beautiful place to hike in an urban county, but also happens to be flood prone -- lesson learned! Thanks to all those that found and enjoyed the cache!

Welcome to Ellie Mau Mau's Hideaway! She was found malnourished and abandoned in 2015. She didn't have a microchip and hadn't been reported as a lost pet; Mau Mau was homeless. Fortunately, we had a place for her and she now lives a good life lording over our family and scratching all the rugs. :)

The cache is not difficult to find. It is right off the dirt trail that parallels the small stream and the Cross County Connector Trail in the Wakefield Park area. Please be sure to securely place it back once you've signed the log book. Thanks for visiting!
