Geocache Description:

This is the fifth cache of a series of caches along Line 3 of the Guangzhou Metro. The goal is to create an urban "Trail Cache" along this public transport line for those cachers who have trouble navigating the city.

This cache series is dedicated to ChinaWong who was the inspiration for this idea.

GEOCACHING IN CHINA NOTE: (applies to all of mainland China as of 2015) The coordinates of the geocache are correct, but the map will not display the "dot" in the right place. The actual location is usually east and south of the dot on the map.
This is why it is essential that you:
1) Rely on the compass for exact location (for some reason it is accurate even though the map is not)
2) Read all clues and description carefully.

The cache is smallish. There's room for the log sheet a small pencil and one or two pieces of swag :) Jump on the metro to line 3's Hanxi Chimelong station and come out of exit A. Walk over the pedestrian skybridge and then you should be able to navigate from there. Stealth is essential as muggles are everywhere to see the theme park.

Hanxi Chimelong is a world-class Safari/ Water and Amusement Park with a pretty good circus to boot.  On another 'campus' there is also a cool Crocodile Park.  South of Guangzhou down in Zhuhai, the Chimelong company has now opened an Ocean Kingdom which is also world-class and the holder of several Guiness World Records.  

Prices for the park start at around 250 RMB, but you don't need to get into the park to access this cache.
