Geocache Description:

This should be a multi. Can't change the category now...Sorry.

With days so short and nights so long for half the year in Minnesota it is nice to find caches designed for winter caching at night. The snow will help to lighten the way. Bring a bright flashlight. Walk carefully, make sure that you have a backtrack on, a compass is always a good idea in the woods and bring plenty of batteries. You will know when you are at the final.

Cache will be removed during rifle season of deer hunting.

The terrain is for a little longer woods hike - mature forest little undergrowth. I made it a harder terrain because you are hiking at night and some of the hike is off trail. It is easy hiking.

Cache is totally winter friendly but the parking may only be available with a shovel once the snowbanks are higher. Right now this year I am still barreling through the snowbank with my car. I did shovel it a little. There is not safe parking on the side of the road in the dark.

Please contact me if you need me to check on the stages to see if it is good to go in the future. I'd feel sad if someone drove a distance to find this cache and couldn't because it needed maintenance. I'll give snowbank conditions, too, for the parking situation and maybe even shovel it out for cachers.
