Geocache Description:

A little known park in Deryneia with plently to explore and see. A nice easy cache in a fairly quiet area, although overlooked by a school so best to avoid break times!

A great hidden gem in the heart of Deryneia, this park is usually very quiet and not known by many.   It is next to the Deryneia amphitheatre which has many productions in the summer months, and home to a lovely cafe which is worth a visit.

There is a small play area, and many paths and areas which kids love to explore.

There is also a grass area and many winding paths to explore as well as several displays of traditional methods of pumping water.

There is a large memorial in the corner of the park for the Fallen, Murdered and Missing of 1974

The cache contains a log book and small pencil and has room for small swaps.
