Geocache is located on the very long bridge straddling the Mekong River at Pakse. The bridge was completed in 2000 funded by Japan and is called the Lao-Nippon Bridge.
It's a long walk out, Many people go jogging or walking from Pakse across to the other side of the bridge or up to the Buddha statues on the far side of the river. If you stand near some of the expansion joints along the bridge you can see the bridge move as large trucks pass over.
Great place to walk at sunrise or sunset.. Pakse is a small town on the tourist trail in Southern Laos. The Mekong continues leisurley south from here toward the 4,000 islands.
The water under the bridge is flowing SE and the cache can be approached by walking about 7 minute along or riding across the bridge in the pedestrian lane on the downstream side of the bridge.
You cannot stop in a car on the bridge.
Enjoy your time in Pakse.
