Beginning in 1934, people have stayed in the little Cama cottages on the beach.
Fifty little Cama Beach Resort cottage buildings were constructed in 1933 and their number was the same for years. In the mid-1950’s three cabins on the hill burned down. The bungalows originally numbered 10, letters A-J. They were nestled at the base of the hill on the north side of the resort. Over the years forest shade and small landslides took their toll on the bungalows. In 2016 two remain A and H. These are scheduled to be moved to the south end of the park.
Where you find this cache you are near where bungalow J stood at the end of the beach front group of the ten original buildings A-J.
