How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

You will have to find numbers around the graveyard that you will then put into the formula to get the micro which contains co-ords for the final. All of the numbers are close to the given co-ords. The co-ords for the micro are N 51 48.AAB W 000 33.CDE

Local people believed that Rosina Massey, who lived at Faerie Hollow in the village, was a witch. It was said that she could move objects around using the power of her mind. She died in 1866 and is buried in the churchyard. Her grave is a Waypoint below.

The Cache

Starting at the co-ords given, you have to find the following:

Ann Esther, wife of William Paxton, died aged AB years.

George Underwood's wife, Sarah Jane, was born in 182C and died in 189D.

Fanny Green, who shares a grave with Samuel Green, died in 19E3

Now you can go and find the micro which contains co-ords for the final cache which is a cylindrical Lock & Lock container. Good luck!

If you would like to expand the Spooky Series, please do. I would only ask that you let cachers Brian Ze Owl know so that they can keep track of numbers and add your cache to the list. They would like the series to contain caches with a spooky story based on local folklore, legend or even newspaper reports.
