AngelusCowl has been a cacher since 2012, and has spent a significant amount of that time caching around northern Illinois. With 5,195 finds at the writing of this cache (4,399 of them in Illinois), he ranks at number 122 in Illinois based on total finds.
AngelusCowl recently informed the caching community that he would be moving out of state for work, specifically to Ohio. While he says the area he'll be living in isn't as cache-heavy as Chicagoland, he plans on changing that. He'll have to find a way to do some more caching if he wants to get back to number 122, as he'll be bumped down to around 176 in Ohio ;)

My past events here have been well received by the geocaching community; it's been awesome to see a bunch of familiar faces, and to meet some new cachers as well! Hopefully you're able to come out and enjoy some good company, a tropical atmosphere, and some yummy drinks!
IMPORTANT: Dawn's Beach Hut is a 21 and over bar that specializes in tropical drinks (think pina colada type), although they do have the regular stuff as well. There is a limited food menu, mostly appetizers. Unfortunately, if you are under 21 or are with someone under 21, you won't be allowed inside for insurance reasons. However, since geocaching is a family activity, if you come by while the event is going on I'll be happy to let you log it and hopefully we can have a little chat outside :)
