24th Australian Scout Jamboree Traditional Cache

Don't park on the highway and attempt a direct route to GZ!  There are parking waypoints provided.  "Parking Near Highway" is about 600M west of GZ and is a large tarmac clearing near the highway on the Eastbound side.  From there you can walk or drive a short distance to "Down The Track" waypoint and follow a trail to GZ.

24th Australian Scout Jamboree - Cataract Scout Park, New South Wales, 2016

This series of caches has been placed to celebrate each Scout Jamboree held in Australia. It has been hidden to coincide with the 24th Australian Jamboree being held at Cataract Scout Park during January of 2016. The Australian Scout Jamboree is a massive camp for Scouts which is held every three years by Scouts Australia and are for members of the Scout Section aged 11 to 15 years of age.

Although I missed out on the Scout experience as a child, my son has recently joined Cubs and is enjoying it, benefiting from the practical and social skills development.
