The Quilt Block Series will be a series of 30 caches that are mostly on back roads in President Township. Some of the roads are posted "No Winter Maintenance." All of the hides should be quick finds and there are pull-offs close-by each cache. There is not alot of traffic on these roads, but please be careful when caching with children.
WAGON WHEEL
The Wagon Wheel is a very intricate block that has many pieces. It is also known as Desert Rose.
This is another of the blocks said to have been used in the Underground Railroad quilts. The meaning was supposed to instruct the slaves to begin packing provisions and necessities that they would carry with them to freedom in the north.
