The Annual gathering of RV geocachers and friends on BLM land in Quartszite is here again! This makes #7 in Quartszite and over the years we have grown in fun and caching experiences. This year will bring new and exciting adventures for all.
4 wheel drive vehicles are not required but the site is primitive. There are no services except that which you tow in yourself. Feel free to pitch a tent or sleep in your car if that suits you. No RV is required to attend.
This is an annual event of the SKP GeoCachers, a group of RV'ers from all over the country who welcome anyone who would like to join us for the week. The 4 day long rally starts on Monday January 25 and will conclude on Thursday January 28. We have set aside Wednesday January 27 as an "open/loggable" event for those who would like to join us for one day. A very low key happening with presentations planned for all levels of cachers. We start at 9am and go through the whole day with fun and games thrown in the mix. We will start to wrap the day up with happy hour starting at 4pm and the event "officially" comes to an end at 6pm, but you are welcome to stay as long as you like. We have been known to go for hours after that tho sitting around the campfire sharing stories of our caching adventures. Join us with or without your RV for a day of meet and greet as well as presentations galore. We like to say that our plans are made in jello so be prepared to laugh, meet some GREAT people and just go with the flow!
