Looking through the internet, I have found a few strange New Year traditions.
In SPAIN, they eat 12 grapes on each of the chimes of 12 midnight, one for good luck for each of the months the year.
In PHILLIPINES, where they do similar, but with any 12 fruits.
In DENMARK, they jump off chairs at midnight, leaping into the new year, banishing bad spirits.
In SOUTH AMERICA, where they wear new fancy underwear, RED for love, and YELLOW for wealth, are the most popular choices.
I love the grapes one, so free grapes will be available! (Crushed grapes too 🍷 hehe, although not free, sorry)
Or maybe we should start our own traditions...?
