Welcome to the official start of Winter here in Wisconsin
With the Winter Solstice falling during the coming week, I had to move this event to a Saturday. To celebrate the days starting to grow longer, the last few days before Christmas and hopefully by now our 1st measurable snow, I wanted to have another Geo-Social.
The Meet and Greet will run on December 19th from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the posted coordinates. Stop by for the whole time or just a little bit and visit with other geocachers.
At the coordinates, you'll find a spot to grab a warm (or cold) drink and something to eat before heading out for some last minute Christmas shopping or even a few caches.
This year the Ice Wizard asked that this move to a place that featured less healthy food choices.
Similar to the previous years, several new caches will have been published in the area before the event.
