Scenic woodland areas, playing fields and a children's play park are all enclosed in the grounds of Huntly Park. The playing fields consist of three full-sized football pitches and four seven-a-side pitches. The park is in the centre of Giffnock and can be accessed at the east end of Huntly Avenue and Torres Avenue or from Braidpark Drive.
Getting Here:
Driving: Parking is available near the cache location; see reference waypoint.
Train: The cache is a 15-20 minute walk from Giffnock, Muirend or Williamwood train stations.
Bus: The cache is a 10-15 minute walk from Fenwick Road stop on First Bus route 38.
There is parking available at the main park entrance or on street parking near the other entrances. The cache is small but large enough for a log book and a few small items. If the football pitch nearest to the cache is in use when you visit, you will either have to be extra stealthy, or come back another time.
