The walk from the Hightown road carpark to the top of Cavehill is the least arduous, very picturesque and only takes 25-40 minutes depending on your fitness. However this cache can also be found if following the trail from the Ballysillan or Upper Cavehill roads.

The cache:
The cache is nano-ish sized tube and contains just a log sheet.
**Please replace the bungs at either end of the cache tube to keep the log sheet sealed**
This cache requires the use of a pencil or bic pen or something similarly shaped to push the bungs and log sheet through the cache tube to access it. Please also treat the cache with care and use all your stealthy skills to avoid giving anything away to muggles.
Enjoy!
About Cavehill:
Cavehill, historically known as Ben Madigan (from Irish: Beann Mhadagáin), is a basaltic hill overlooking the city of Belfast in Northern Ireland. It forms part of the southeastern border of the Antrim Plateau. It is distinguished by its famous 'Napoleon's Nose', a basaltic outcrop which resembles the profile of the famous emperor Napoleon. All of Belfast can be seen from its peak, as can the Isle of Man and Scotland on clear days.
Cavehill is thought to be the inspiration for Jonathan Swift's Gulliver's Travels. Swift imagined that the Cavehill resembled the shape of a sleeping giant safeguarding the city.
