Oz Mega Committee: The Committee thanks all who attended from Victoria, QLD , NSW and all the locals.

16 people ventured on the Yowie Tour after the event to Mt Franklin and an enjoyable walking tour taking in the the panoramic views seemed to be popular.

Thanks again to all who attended and time to archive the event now.

Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Easter Sunday meet n greet event at the Cotter River on the outskirts of Canberra. A popular BBQ area visited by locals all year round with ample parking, shelters, picnic tables and plenty of caches nearby for a enjoyable day out. The scenic Cotter Avenue area will host the event.

The event will commence at 12 noon and finish at 2 pm. Bring your own lunch or cook yourself a BBQ lunch.Lunch is optional. Don't forget the TB's for the trackables table. .


Bring the kids as there are plenty of playgrounds and areas to frolic !

FOOD: This is a BYO everything to eat and drink.

There will be a log book,which is optional to sign ,a free raffle and info given out on the Queanbeyan event in 2019. Don't forget the Easter Saturday Event as well ; GC65964 Captains Flat Meet n Greet Event. After the event concludes ,there will be a tour to the Yowie area.
