Kids and Dogs Traditional Cache

My grandchildren and I placed this cache with the idea of creating a cache that had special treats for the kids and your dogs, if you bring both along for the hunt.

You can park on this dead end street..

The cache is located on the north side of the river and parkway in a little visited area.  This side of the river is an undeveloped greenbelt that is almost a mile long with several trails snaking through the trees.  There is also another cache to the east "just for the girls" that you can reach through these wingding  trails .  It's interesting how the environment changes from a shaded tree covered environment to a high desert type of environment with cactus all around.

The cache is in a metal ammo box coverd under some branches and bark.  Please recover well as there is evidence that transients may frequent the area at night.  It is still safe though and I walk my dogs through here all the time.
