Cambridge's iconic red telephone box has become a tardis-like book exchange.
The octagonal booth was restored earlier in 2015 during a mid-town upgrade, and with shelves installed it has now morphed into a mini-library.
The phone booth was erected in 1990 for Telecom, adapted from a 1911 plan. Moves to turn it into a book exchange took shape when the local bookshop owner found an old book shelf, painted it green and filled it with some slightly damaged books from the store. (ref: www.stuff.co.nz)
We think this is a great idea that will hopefully take off and provide a unique book swap for all ages. We did a book swap and left a little something extra to entice you... Cache is a magnetic nano - please be stealthy! BYOP and a book for ET!
