I recently picked up some UV pens for the kids, and thought this could make for a really fun caching experience, so it was time to place a cache to see if that might really be the case. I guess that each of you seekers will be able to tell me what you think of the experience in your logs!
I made this one a night cache to hopefully add to the fun, but this Cache can be done in daylight or at night. I recommend low light or night conditions!
YOU WILL NEED A UV LIGHT TO MAKE THIS FIND (and read some of the hints along the journey). Downloading a UV light app for your phone will not work, as the light on your phone is LED, not UV. Using your UV light will assist you with your search for the containers, so as you get close to each use your UV light to assist in your search. Each of the waypoints, and final, are close to the trail on pretty flat ground. There is a small UV light for the first to find, some swag, and room for small trackables in the final container.
***UPDATE*** I have found a hack that will allow you to use your smartphone as your UV light! Click on the link below for a YouTube video which tells you exactly how it's done! DIY UV Light Smartphone Hack I hope that this hack works as well in assisting you to find this cache as it does on the YouTube video.
