Number 13 in my Giant series. What now appears as a nondescript area used to have a Community Hall, a tennis court, a telegraph station and Pa sites NE and NW (Arapae Pa) of GZ. The road alongside GZ was named after giving access to balloted farm blocks for returning troopers. The sign near GZ also indicates that the Arapae school was in existence from 1914-1924 and this cache name may have a link to phonetic learning.
