WARRAGAMBA STREET ART PROJECT
Adopt an Environment has worked in partnership with Warragamba Silverdale Neighbourhood Centre and Wollondilly Shire Council on a Street ART project in Warragamba. The building next to the Warragamba Skate Park has been transformed into a canvas and young people between the ages of 12 to 19 are the artists.
The artwork was designed and completed by the students with the assistance of their Art Teacher - Jessica
There were 10 students involved in the project with their aim to beautify the skate park and combat graffiti in
Warragamba.
A water theme was chosen, to reflect Warragamba's history and close ties to the Dam and the stencils were all created with a message around water and sustainability.
Our Daughter Hannah (Booo Booo) was one of these 10 students
