Geocache Description:

One of 3 new caches being placed to coincide with our "Rother Valley Rumble" Geocaching Event on Saturday 8th August 2015, from 10am to 1pm,in the beautiful Rother Valley Country Park in South Yorkshire. All 3 caches are intended to be easy to find - famous last words !

The cache is now a small, clear tube container. Bring your own pen. Please take care when retrieving and replace as found. Please make sure cache is covered.

Rother Valley Country Park covers 3 square kilometres, has four artificial lakes, recreational activities, a minature railway, play areas for the kids and nature reserves.

Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council and the Rother Valley Country Park ranger service are keen to promote geocaching - the Rother Valley Rumble events are a chance for experienced cachers to meet up and are also a chance for us to recruit some novices and show people what a friendly bunch we geocachers are. This is the 2nd event we are hosting with support of the park ranger service.

If you're interested in making the most of the day you could take a walk along the Trans Pennine Trail and visit the numerous caches that run parallel to the valley between Beighton and Killamarsh. These are accessible from the park and, if you are visiting our event, we will be happy to point the way.

Congratulations FTF to Indiac !!
