This is one of several great parks in Roxbury Township in which to geocache. You can definitely get a great hike in while looking for this, and the other caches hidden in the park. There are four trails to enjoy here - Red, Green, Yellow, and Blue. This cache is located on the Red Trail, which was newly dedicted in May 2015. The Red Trail runs parallel to, and east of the Blue Trail, but meanders through the woods, passing several terrific rock outcroppings, and some "unique" structures that you would never suspect to see in the woods! The trail may have some mud or standing water. Good hiking shoes are a must! The Red Trail runs just shy of 1.5 miles (one way). Walking the Red, and then the Blue Trail back (or vice versa) will put approximately 3 miles on your hiking shoes.
This cache was placed with the permission of the Roxbury Township Department of Recreation. This cache was also placed in the spirit of the N.J. Dept. of Environmental Protection's geocaching policy. This means the geocache can be found within 5-10 feet of the trail, and that no bushwacking is required to find this cache!
This cache is children friendly so all can enjoy the game! The park is only open during daylight hours, so no night-time caching is allowed. Please remember to replace the cache container in the exact same manner in which it was found. Hunting is allowed in the park! Please wear your safety orange during hunting season!

NOTE: Appears that Roxbury Twp. Recreation Department has placed additional markings along the Red Trail. In addition to the White On Point blazes with red lettering, spray-painted 4-inch Red Squares have also been added to keep you on the Red Trail!
