Geocache Description:

Since I started geocaching, I have noticed two types of geocachers:  those who prefer to roll up the log and those who prefer to fold up the log.  I have even seen a combination of both.  For example a log folded down to a certain size, then rolled the rest of the way.  All have their pros and cons.  Rolled logs are hard to sign because they want to curl back up on themselves.  Folded logs get fatigued at the seams and tear apart.  Some containers demand a rolled log, while other containers seem better suited to have a folded log.  Sometimes it is not the container, but the extra water proofing bag inside the container that demands a log that need reduced in size to fit by rolling or folding.  Personally, I am a folder.  Maybe it’s because I did origami as a younger gentlemen.  Maybe it’s because it bothers me the way rolled paper is always trying to roll itself back up as I am trying to sign it.  Maybe it’s because it’s just me and what I prefer.
