Perhaps one of the best short hiking/walking trails that Cape Breton has to offer, is this little trek to the Usige Ban Falls. This 2 hour return hike is nice year round, great to snowshoe in the depths of winter, or to enjoy the autumn fall colours, so take a little lunch, a camera and a friend and enjoy this spectular scenery.
The park is an approx. 25 minute drive from downtown Baddeck, Nova Scotia.
Please use some caution, in a number of locations the river trail come close to the edge of the brook, and a slip could be hurtful.
The cache container is a small bottle just off the parking area, all I had in my backpack with a log and a few small swag items. Please trade fairly and replace cache as found or better. There are four easy accessible caches on the trail, plus three much tougher caches.
