Most of the open spaces around San Luis Obispo are filled with geocaches but this one has remained fairly virgin, so now a number of new caches are planted to induce more geocachers. The Stenner Creek Trail is an easy trail but iis access is a little more complicated, but easy once you get there. Take Stenner Creek Road off Hwy 1 through Cal Poly and drive all the way to the end. There will be a gate across the road to prevent unauthorized driving access, but there is ample parking here. At the "Attention Visitors" sign. go through the gate and continue up the road. Just before the residence and the barking dogs (as far as I know all bark and no bite), turn right and go over the bridge. Go through the gate on the other side of the bridge and turn left to start the trail. Plenty of caches along the way.
