It was my first experience hiding a geocache. I got this idea from a Norwegian couple who were visiting me (@Apple hostel) and decided to try. So several days later one guy from New Zealand - Aaron and I decided to try hiding a geoach. This is the first geocache in Cholpon Ata, and actually it is useful as well since it helps you to find the Petroglyphs museum which is one of the major attractions of the city.
The Petroglyphs geocach is located right in the Petroglyphs museum. If you are in the center of Cholpon Ata (by the historical museum which is 2 min walk from the supermarket Narodnyi) walk towards Bishkek for about 20-30 min on the main Sovetskaya road, then right before you reach Bishkek Petroleum gas station turn right and walk towards the mountains. Keep walking for about 20 min until you reach the black gates to the museum. Enter the gates and walk for another 10 min up to the mountains, the geocach location will be on your right side, 200 metres away from the stone wall.
