This cache was placed while solo paddling down the Shubenacadie River from Enfield to Lantz. There are some very fast flowing sections on this river. There will be areas on the river you want to be sure to avoid. If you manage to get into certain areas it'll be difficult to back out. If any cachers plan to paddle the river I would gladly join you. Text me or email me through my profile if so. It would be a great time doing this paddle together in a small group. I paddled down the river in my canoe and will be going solo in it if I go again. The distance covered in this series placement was just over 7 km as the crow flies and just under 10 km in actual distance. Bring a writing device to sign the logbook. Be safe and enjoy!
