Vintage Television "Coach" Traditional Cache

This cache is placed in the Shackleford Ridge Park with permission of Signal Mtn Parks and Recreation.  They requests that caches be placed near the trails and that cachers stay on the trails while searching.  There are several caches to find if you do the whole loop.

Craig T Nelson starred as Coach Fox in the series Coach that aired from 1989 to 1997.  Set at the fictional Minnesota State University, Fox and his assistants (Jerry Van Dyke and Bill Faggerbakke) coached the Screaming Eagles.  During the last two seasons, the entire coaching staff moved on to coach the fictional pro football team, The Orlando Breakers.

Near this cache location is a bench where you can sit and listen to the games being broadcast over the loudspeakers.  But don't be a bench warmer!  Keep searching and find this cache and all the others in the park.
