We all have made a random decision or two. Some I am sure have led us to the desired end state, yet others have left us realizing we should have gathered more information or trusted that "instinctual gut feeling."
How many of us have randomly gone left at a junction only to find ourselves on the wrong side of the creek or fence? Then to add insult to injury after trekking all the way back discovered that had we only taken a few more steps at that junction, had we just let the GPS settle we would have seen the "obvious" track up the other side of the creek or the gate to the fence. Ok, maybe this only happens to me ...
Anyways, for this cache it is a relatively simple decision. It is either that container or it is the other one that contains the log.
If the log was in the "other one" please log a DNF online first, then your find. Either way perhaps you could share one of your random caching decisions that may have not resulted in the desired end state being achieved immediately or as planned.
No pressure ...
