The Casque (which is French for helmet) Isle trail is a hiking trail that runs from Terracae Bay Beach to Rossport Beach. The 53km hiking trail features many breathtaking vistas (which is where the name comes into play) of Lake Surperior. The trail is semented into sections that are more approachable.
This first section is the Lyda Bay segment. However, if you are looking for a relatively quick jaunt that takes you back to your car, I would suggest hiking down from the Aguasabon Falls parking lot to Danny's cove and back. This section is about 3km there and back. Perfect little hike for children and dogs.
